Retin-A does nothing for oil, although I've had several derms tell me it does. It's sad that even these "professionals" sometimes have no idea what they are talking about.

I'm on day 10 of 10mg/day and think I'm starting to see a minor decrease in the oil (thank god!). My lips started to get dry a couple of days ago.

I tried it and wasn't overly impressed. But hey, it's cheap so you might as well give it a whirl.
