How much benzoyl peroxide are you putting on? 30 minutes to dry is a long length of time, although everyone's skin is different. You may be drying out your skin from an excessive amount.

You should check out about water fasting; there is already a lot of relevant information. I think you should consider postponing the fast if you have a sports commitment.
