Interesting. I've used tea tree oil for a few years now and I have never had any burns. I do use aloe vera gel as well. Did anything work to help the burn?

I don't think it's awful at all. It mostly looks like scarring to me. I'm not familiar with scar treatment options, but maybe you can look here and find some helpful information. Best of luck to you!
