Hi,  16 years ago i had few cystic acne on my face.  I was dumb back then so i pinched the acne till it drew pus and blood.  Since is how the scars look like since then. Other parts of my face are fairly ok but this indentation appears huge at different lighting so i m really bothered by it from time to time.  Do you have any recommendation on how to lift this scar up?

It's hard to see anything much in those pictures but I believe you that there is something there that's bothering you.

Perhaps a little subsicion would help? I bet you could get away with a simple procedure for that and get a little improvement that you'd be happy with. Educate yourself and then find a trustworthy scar specialist to help you out. And err on the side of doing less, not more.

Hye,  thank you so much for the opinion. Maybe this is more obvious.  I had 1 session of fotona laser at certified clinic but not sure if my expectation too high or there is really no difference at all,  i ll have 2 more session,  planning to tell her if subcision is a better optionIMG_20200714_235421.jpg.e4076513b55cbb7a1ea55e08270900ec.jpg

I'm not familiar with fotona laser in particular.

However, word to the wise...don't just go to a regular dermatologist for scar stuff. You want to find a dermatologist who specializes in scar repair, is passionate about it, and has done it for years if not decades. Any clinic you ever go to will sell you something...even if it's a laser that "plumps" or some mumbo jumbo like that.

For scars, you need the real deal, which means a fractional laser or an ablative laser in some cases. It really depends. And maybe, like you're saying, combined with other procedures like subsicions.

Bottom line, save your money on any and all procedures until you're comfortable you have found the right doctor who really knows what he/she is talking about and can back it up with lots of pictures of real patients.
