Seeing yourself as others see you?

Is there a certain way to see yourself close to how others see you? Two mirrors? Video? As many of us probably have acne scars it would be super interesting if there is a close to accurate visual of it.

It depends upon lighting and it depends upon the individual seeing a person with scars, yes?

So in my case when I look at myself in the mirror above my bathroom sink, I think "Oh, I look okay." Then I step just a mere three feet away to the mirror above my toilet, which is closer to the shower light, and I think "Oh, my God" and not in a good way.  And at my gym it seems like every mirror shows my scarring in ways I didn't even think were possible.

Regarding people, if someone is very appearance oriented, they may zero in on one's scarring. If a person doesn't really care about appearances or maybe even have poor vision, one's scars may not even register.
