I'm having an extremely hard time seeing any scarring. It might help if you used angled lighting like a flashlight so that we can better see the depth and severity.

If the scars are really shallow, you might consider a series of glycolic acid peels at 70%. I've hard RF Microneedling (Infini)on the forward and had no complications.

They are quite shallow, angled lighting hardly shows them up. Can I ask if you had any forehead scarring and did RF do anything for it?

I'm scared of complications with RF compared to regular microneedling which I know is fine.

I had some scarring in between my brows. I only did one Infinisession to test for complications and recovery, so improvement was minimalit takes multiple sessions.

If the scars are that shallow, and won't even show up in angled lighting, then it's likely that no one else can see them. In my opinion, it's not worth the trouble to do energy-based treatments.

If there is pigmentation, enlarged pores, and textural issues then I suggest topicals and peels that you can do at home.

I already use Tretinoin but have never done a peel. Have many large pores which haven't been improved from Tret and microneedling.

Hi, could you please check the new photos I have added in angled lighting. The scars do show up and look more obvious in real life.

Should I have RF needling for this or something else?

also interested in topicals, i dont like energy devices or acids to be honest. my skin is paper thin

@jwebs91 I see it a little better now in the photos. It looks shallow, but perhaps look more noticeable because of pigmentation? If so, you might try a topical like hydroquinone, vitamin c, or alpha arbutin to treat the pigmentation. You can also try glycolic acid peels like the one from The Ordinary or Makeup Artist's Choice.
