Epiduo after Deep Fx?

I got Deep Fx about 2 months ago. My esthetician put me on a Vitamin C/retinoid serum, but it is not controlling my comedonal acne. I was hoping to swtichthe serum with Epiduo, as Epiduo has worked for my skin in the past. But I'm not sure if the ingredients in Epiduo are okay to use after Deep Fx? Will they inhibit my collagen production or my skin's healing?

I have young skin, as I am only 18, so I am very prone to breakouts. I need something stronger than a vitamin C serum to control my acne. But I spent over $3,000 on Deep Fx, so I don't want to prevent my skin's healing from it; otherwise, I'd have spent all that money for nothing.

This is really a question for your doctor.

Also any ideas why laser is so expensive in the states? I've had laser done for 1/3 of that price in the uk.

Unfortunately, this is not a question I can ask my esthetician. I tried asking him, and he tried selling me onto more of his vitamin serums. I really do not trust him, and I wouldn't have gone to him if he were not the only Deep Fx provider in my state.

You should not be using a laser if you break out, ... you can make things worse. This guy must be about $$$$. Your acne should have been under control. Please goto a derm. I cannot advise you on the proper cream, but I would not be using a vitamin A cream after I had laser. You may spot treat a zit, do not put it all over your face while healing from laser. This is only after 3 weeks post laser. Please goto someone else, this guy sounds terrible. Yes $3k for a expensive doctor is quite common, ... you can always get the cheaper guys who will butcher you here, (spas, back rooms, skin specialists, etc, or online coupon deals). $3k for a estetician sounds like your paying off his $200K laser. Vitamin C does not control acne just stops pigmentation. Just spot treat if you get a zit only on the pimple, or use some sulfur cream for acne from any drug store again spot treat do no spread.I am sure this shark also did not put you on any antibiotics to prevent this from occurring during laser. You could try to wash your face with Colloidal Silver (HealthStore) it's antibacterial or just use dilute white vinegar with water and pat the skin to kill bacteria.
