I have not idea how I got this deep pitted pore. Can TCA help reduce this severity of this type of scar?
It's very small but it's deep.
Does anyone know a good practitioner in Northern NJ to help correct this?

Thanks

IT could possibly help or they might excise and stitch. I listed the doctors we trust to go see at the bottom of the below faq I made (in my signature) there are some by you. Dr. Rapaport does this in NJ I believe.

Thanks. I actually thought about having it excised and stitched. I would hope that would make it better.

I have been reading up on the excise and stitch procedure. It looks a little scary.

@beautifulambition Wow. Nice FAQ! How did you come to trust the doctors listed in the FAQ? Thanks.

Thank You!
@guppy45I research quite a bit, worked in aesthetics, they are tops awarded doctors in the acne scar field who do purely aesthetics treatments. I also see reviews of their work, we have members on the boards here who have seen them which adds validity, and they wrote white paper on specifics of scarring or trying new techniques. Often people from the boards see several of these doctors.

I wonder if TCA CROSS is mostly used by Cosmetic Derms/surgeons and not so much by Plastic Surgeons.
I have two scars and a large pore and I would like to see if TCA CROSS can help.

It depends, it can be , you have to call around and see. I am sure Derms use it more. If they are all crazy for laser they push for quick $$$$ and will avoid subcision and tca. Some general derms still do it and some plastic surgeons, call ahead and make clear what you want.

For some reason I believe derms charge less than plastic surgeons, but I might be wrong. From my own experience, they all charge pretty much the same when it comes to lasers. Good luck!

Yeah, time to do a bit of research. It's hard to gauge the skill involved in tca cross and deciding if delivery by syringe vs. toothpick technique is better.
Thanks for the info.
