I have been using Tretioin for over a year now and for the most part it's been pretty great. I started out with the 0.25%, then the 0.05% and stayed with that for a while. I recently went through a whole winter always getting random big pimples (this never happened before) and believe me it was horrible. I went to the dermatologist around two weeks ago and he gave me the 0.1%. The first week was great, but then the purge started again.

So, basically my questions are...

1) Have any of you experienced purging by increasing the dosage of your Tretionoin?

2) How long do you think this purging will last?

I'm hoping to be mostly clear by the summer and I hope it won't last too long as I only increased the dosage. Anyways, thanks for all the support and stay strong everyone!
