I recently just stopped using Benzaclin, and what I recommend is to use any gentle cleanser that is not formulated for acne. The topical antibiotic within this gel works better this way. By all means, you can wash your face in the morning with something containing S.A., but before you treat the skin with Benzaclin, don't wash it with an acne wash.

And I am pretty sure that by using BP for a temporary time, it won't kill ya but then again you should consider what you put on your skin
