I've always had a lot of trouble with my skin. Acne has been a major part of my life for at least 12 years. I get some pretty severe zits on my back and even on my face. Some could be considered boils... But here lately, I've started to get these zits on my forearms that get pretty big, and for the first couple days I have them, they tend to get red around them. They never seem to come to a head though, they just appear, hurt for a week or so, and then go back down.. They've seemed to stay in the same spots, or near the same spots. I have to admit, I have a pretty crap diet... I live alone so most of the time I eat fast food and I normally only eat once a day... So I'm ASSUMING that my poor diet may have something to do with it, but I can't ever seem to put my mind to rest about it. On top of all of this, I'm a long-time hypochondriac.... So I tend to assume the absolute worst. I've attached some photos of the zits that are currently on my arms... IF ANYONE HAS ANY SIMILAR ZITS LIKE THESE, PLEASE LET ME KNOW... It really is eating away at me.

Hello, Aaron. I don't have any pictures for you to look at, but I do have a similar problem. I have noticed large reoccurring pimples that appear on my forearms as well. Similar to you, the show up for a week or so (more or less(usually a bit more)) and then disappear. I have yet to find a solution for this (or what the heck these things are for that matter), but for me it does seem to be affected by my diet quite a lot. I have recently been eating a lot of junk food, and that's when I started to notice this happen. I'm sorry I couldn't give you an answer, but at least I can assure you, you're not the only one.
