i'm almost done with 5 months of accutan, i noticed oil reduction in just my first 2 weeks and i used to have severly oily skin. i havent been overly dried out because i keep up with mosturizing but around the beginning of my fourth month my chin became unusually dry. nonetheless, accutane works wonders and is worth the little drying it causes!

Yea I'd say two weeks or so. As long as you're diligent with moisturizing and lip balm...you'll be okay.

1-2 weeks for me I guess..

5 days for me. Im on Isotretinoin 30mg. Day 11 for me and my skin is totally dried out. I had really oily skin before.

In the first month, it took about 10 days before I noticed the oil was decreasing on 30mg and I weighed 49kg. I had extremely oily skin before accutane too. My oiliness then increased when my doseage was doubled to 60mg in month 2, but the oiliness decreased again after about two weeks.
