Is Salicyclid Acid From Different Brands All The Same If Same Percentage?

Im from the usa but in canada at the moment. Back in the usa, i used neutrogena acne defense face lotion which as 2 percent salicyclic acid.

I know there are other products such as

Clean Clear Advantage Treatment which also is 2 percent salicyclic acid. The reason why i ask this is b/c i see they have this at the drugstores here in canada and not the neutrogena defense face lotion here.

If both are the same 2 percent S.A.... do they work the same or does one work better/worst than the other?

The SA may be the same in both but they contain all kinds of ingredients that can differ from each other. You could always just mix the SA into your moisturizer if that's what you're looking for.
