Hi GodGirlzSmile! Panoxyl has benzoyl peroxide in it, so that can definitely help with acne. How severe is your acne? (very mild, mild, moderate, ect) and Is your skin sensitive? (does it itch or become dry after using certain cleansers or makeup) If your skin is sensitive, I'd suggest not using the Panoxyl.

Hey SunnySarah, thanks for the info. My skin, well, I wouldn't describe it as sensitive, and my acne is mostly blackheads with some whiteheads on my forehead and randomly around my face... what do you suggest?

GodGirlzSmile,

If your skin isn't sensitive, then panoxyl may be good for you. It is 10% benzoyl peroxide though, which is very strong and for me, it made my skin pink and sensitive. Before purchasing panoxyl, look in your drugstore for other over the counter face washes that are benzoyl peroxide but 2-5% rather than 10%. Benzoyl peroxide can be very helpful in clearing acne, but if it is too strong a dose, it can irritate the normal healthy skin, along with getting rid of the acne.
