Okay so I'm 16, just turned 16 actually. I just feel like my skin on my cheek is a disaster man.. Like I only break out on my cheeks.. There's little tiny bumps all over, and scarred pores. Small little scar, annoying ass little blackheads under the skin of my right cheek, right by my nose.. :( like it just won't go away, it gets better, then it gets worse, and it just sucks man... My right side is more clear. :( any advice?

If youre just asking what it is and how bad it looks, It looks like moderate acne to me. It doesn't look super inflamed, but if it hurts or itches really bad you should probably try to make it to the dermatologist, over the counter stuff probably wont work in th elong run. In the mean time, I would wash it with a mild cleanser like cetaphil only twice a day (I agree with the other poster about neutrogena) and apply something with BP.

We'll thanks guys, but my skin is actually getting a little now. It's slowly clearing up for the most part now. My skin is tolerable to nuetrogena products I guess. I've just been showering more frequently and using their facial rapid clear facial cleanser. I really appreciate you guys help too.

Oh, and I've been drinking water like everyday!

Sorry for being vague, but I wasn't even sure what you were specifically asking tbh

I can deal with acne just fine, the scars are what I'm mainly concerned with.

And thanks @newtoacne ... I find it kind of sad that his comment actually got to me a little.

Wisebatsleeping is right though... have you ever been to a derm? They will probably start you off with antibiotics and topicals but you want to take care of it as soon as possible... a lot of people who take accutane only have the regret of not taking it sooner! Neutrugena sucks though... if your going to get something over the counter id get a gentle cleanser like cetaphil.

I agree with Newtoacne, your acne the way it is won't leave major scarring, at least in my opinion... and whatever scarring it might leave will be pretty manageable later.

What have you tried so far for treatments?

For cleansers I liked "Spectro gel" and "Cetaphil" both are pretty good... and have you ever tried using a BP treatment? If your skin can tolerate it the regimen is really effective at clearing up skin. I also had some success with sulfur face masks (Queen helene mint julep mask is fantastic) and one thing I can't stress enough to people is to be SUPER gentle on your skin when you do anything (washing, drying, applying moisturiser, ect)... it honestly pays off so much when it comes to inflammation or anything of the sort.

Keep your head up~ (:
