Have you tried applying ice to it? Put an ice cube in a ziplock baggie (or any plastic bag will do), hold the ice against the swollen area for a few minutes at a time. You will more than likely get a bad case of 'brain freeze'. Apply ice on and off about 10 times, for a minute or two at a time, or as long as you can handle it.

the head means that the pus inside will come out.

2 days is nothing.
sometimes big pustules take more than 8-10 days to show any improvement bu i hope thats not the case with u.
dont touch it.
What I would suggest for "effectively" popping pimples in a manner that won't scar is to use thin lancets (what diabetics use to prick themselves) I have 26 gauge that I've used to remove milia as well as pop a pimple or two. The hole it leaves is tiny but will effectively allow you to drain the pimple. Make sure you wipe your skin down with alcohol or hydrogen peroxide after. Also, be gentle when you squeeze stuff out. Aggressive squeezing is what traumatizes the skin.
