Im 25, just diagnosed with hypothyroidism today. I'm not significantly overweight but have experienced some recent weight gain that Im not sure is linked to my underactive thyroid. What I'm wondering is if the acne that I've been getting for the last 2 to 3 yrs is a result of this problem?? It's gradually getting worse. Today I was prescribed Levothyroxin. Will this help with the acne? will it help me lose weight?
