Had acne for 10 years, any new ideas to cure it?!?

Hi All

I've had acne for 10 years now (i'm now 25). I've been on various medications for about 9 of those 10 years on and off. The only medication that worked was Roacutaine which I took when I was 20 and my skin cleared up for about 4 years and what spots did develop afterwards were manageable.

I'm now 25 and acne has started to return, I'm currently using minocycline tablets, zineryt lotion and use clearasyl twice a day. However this doesn't seem to be stopping my acne forming.

I am now considering going back on roacuataine, which i don't really want to do because its a very powerful drug and can harm the liver.

Does anyone have any suggestions or recommendations for what else I can try?

I'm 28 have had mild acne since I was 14 have used accutane, antibiotics, topical retinoids all to no avail. The regimen works for me...it is not a perfect solution but it is better than anything else I've tried.

there isn't a cure against acne. some, but very few, are fortunate to have "perfect" skin. follow dan's regime or follow your own regime.
