I gonna have 4 weeks on Sunday so is too soon to see the final result.
This process'll take at least 6 month to see the results.
I'm already happy with my improved because my hypopigmentation has gone and I can see my skin colour it's getting better. A few acne scars improved around a 45%. Well, I'll load more photos in 4 weeks.
hi guys,
am 31 yr old male ,African american and had been in a accident 10 years ago where my forehead went through the windshield..
on april 8th i had recell done on my face in Nottingham by mr.rawlins. the procedure wasn't cheap at all and took only around 45 min to complete , which bugs the hell out me why it was so expensive...
but never the less 4 weeks later my scars are much smoother ,color is still slightly red but i can already see a over all improvement in skin texture and appearance . i am very excited with the results so far and in all honesty i am confident i am going to be pleased with the end results...
as one person said , people have to be realistic with their expectations .... dont expect silky smooth skin like nothing ever happened after recell.
i personallybelieverecell was designed to improve not eliminatescars..if youbelievethat too then there is no reason not give it a go...as time passes by maybe the12weeks margin i would share my pics..but until then dont bash something because a friend never got the results they wanted or you broke your piggy bank hoping to look 100% scar free

Thanks for posting photos!
Will be nice to see further improvement in another 4 weeks 🙂 I just wonder, how long did you have the scabs? I Need to know how much time I need off work after the procedure. They say 2 weeks at the Zenith, but is that enough time for the skin to look presentable?

Hi...I got the scabs for 10 days. I only washed my face with water and used little bit of vaseline when those scabs got very dry and itchy. But never touched them. I also took paracetamol for the pain but only 2 days. I started to use sunblock dry touch by la roche posay with colour, heliocare gel with colour brown to get tanned skin and compact powder by shiseido because its cover very good the redness comparing it with the powder by clinique. If your scars get very red you can use heliocare sunblock gel cream with colour light or brown depending on your skin colour to blur the redness.
hi, boostsvg , my scars scars were also caused by a car accident, I did this treatment in january and now even after four months ,I dont find more than 10% improvement, before the treatment i had expected only atleast 50% improvement after 6months, any now after 4 months it has only improved a maximum 10% and ill have to wait and see, my case was acessed by my surgeon here, and he said that the treatment has not improved my condition, maybe just the improvement of deep dermabrasion(scars got more smoother), and recell has just helped to heal it fast. overall very honestly I say this treatment doest do much for hypertrophic scars.
whoever tries this treatment out of their desperation to improve scars, will be disappointed with very less improvement and leaves you with a guilty feeling of having wasted huge amount on something worthless. so recell isgood for people who will be satisfied with just 10-30% improvement in both texture and colour.
Im sorry to hear that you didn't get any more than 10 % improvement after Recell. I must say that I have been hoping that Recell would be some kind of miracle cure for scars, but apparently its not.. I am still determined to try it, and I guess thats my desperation that decides that for me. My only concern is hypopigmentation. I dont have visible scar tissue in my scars anymore and thats thanks to several needling procedures. Have you tried needling? Maybe that helps for hypertrophic scars? I will be happy getting 30% improvement in pigmentation, so thats what I'm hoping for.
Hi , catsicum. I totally understand and wish this treatment improves your condition. why dont you consider flying to India, doctors are very skilled and it would be atleast 75% cheaper. please check this link , there are some honest before and after pics too, though its maily done for vitilgo. . http://www.nitalskinclinic.com/website/vitiligo.html

Hi again! How is your healing going? Could you give an update on your improvement?
Now avita has comeup with something new, renovacell for pigmentation, reading about it on their website feels its same as recell, dont know whether this too will be a disappointment for the patient after spending huge money.
Anyway those who are desperate to get out of their condition, have enough money and consider they have nothing else to lose, may try, but please with a dermatologist not a plastic surgeon for a simple treatment like this they'll charge thousands of dollars as their fee.A dermatologist will be able to do it for maybe less than $2000 please dont spend more than this amount for the trratment unless you are combining it with a surgical procedure. Im thinking of talking to a dermatologist in India to start doing this.
Also would like to mention my results so far, its been 9months after treatment , I had it done on 3 scars 2wide thick ones and a one inch thin scar, Ive got veryy good improvement for the thin short scar and no significant improvement in the other two and I had to do scar revision again. There is significant improvement in pigmentation in the one inch short scar and i would say that scar has improved atleat75% to an extent that it doesnt bother me anymore, so the question here is, why I dint get any improvement in the other two scars?? because it was thicker and wider?? here is the photo, 2months after recell and 9months after.
so cannot say this treatment doesnt do anything at all, infact it does something but not at all promising for this high price. worth a try if its done for less than $2K

I am glad to hear that Recell actually did something to improve at least one of your scars. I have booked my appointment with Dr. Rawlins on December 20th. I am trying to keep my expectations low... But I hope to achieve up to 75% improvment...
studies show (mkt) works better than recell for vitilgo patients, so the same implies for scar issues too.

also 90% cheaper than recell
Treatment of vitiligo lesions by ReCell vs. conventional melanocyte-keratinocyte transplantation: a pilot study.
Abstract
BACKGROUND:
Surgical procedures are indicated to treat stable vitiligo, refractory to medical treatment. In addition to conventional surgical techniques, noncultured cellular grafting is gaining wider acceptance among dermatologists.
OBJECTIVES:
To assess the efficacy of the ReCell kit (Clinical Cell Culture, Cambridge, U.K.) and to compare it with conventional melanocyte-keratinocyte transplantation (MKT) for the treatment of vitiligo.
METHODS:
Ten lesions in five patients at the same anatomical localization (left vs. right, or two separate lesions at the same anatomical location) were treated with ReCell and conventional MKT and repigmentation compared at 4 months post-transplantation.
RESULTS:
Of the five lesions treated with ReCell two lesions showed 100%, one 65% and one 40% repigmentation, and one lesion failed to repigment. Of the five lesions treated by conventional MKT three showed 100% and one 30% repigmentation and one failed to repigment.
CONCLUSIONS:
ReCell may be an effective method to treat vitiligo. Studies on larger series of patients are required to confirm its efficacy. Further research is required to establish the effective dilution of the cell suspension
Mktp is recell is the exact same procedure just cheaper.if you go to India it cost 100 pounds for the same treatment as recell in uk that cost 6000 pounds.recell and mktp are not very good.I posted all this study and info on mktp and recell in my thread.if you respond to recell or mktp the max results are up to 30% improvmet in hypopigmentation repigment.but most people don't respond. I was talking to alot of experts that do both procedures
I fixed my massive hypopigmentation scarwithout wasting tons of money on these phony procedures

let's see your pics .nobody ever comes back here to show there results in hypopigmentation. Because they never get results.initially hypopigmentation looks ever so slightly better when it's red and swollen. But when that goes down the white colourless scars show there ugly head once again.and the hypopigmentation will no tan like normal skin.recell needs to be stopped.the drs are salesman and need to be stopped.taking advantage of us

I can still see the hypopigmentation in the scar guys .texture looks imporoved recell is pretty usless in bringing back lost pigment to become normal and tan like normal skin i know you guys have spend thousands on this and I would be dilousinal about my results aswell if I spent that much on recell.but good luck guys.
Oh and lastly if you google recell results there are only us guys from this forum.ive read every thread many times,no good results and the pistest never came back, there are no other reviews etc etc.I'm trying to help people not to waste there cash on this.there are so many red flags about this procedure its crazy

I had recell 3 weeks ago and I feel like it helped with my skin texture. I had shiny texture problems and I do believe that recell is very good for those kind of problems. My hypopigmentation (not my main concern) still remains, though.
hello just joined this blog found it when I was looking into recell read mikey and borecs blogs I had recell and dermabrasion 5 weeks ago in Australia by Dr Rawlins for hyperpigmentation and hypopigmentation on face he felt I would get great results but at this stage I am so discouraged my face is so blotchy and discolored been in communication tells me way to early an d will settle and skin will begin to even out and repigment just curios about other people going through this would love some input Thanks
I'm also looking into this can u please let me know how it's going as I'm going in to see Dr rawlins in Nottingham about having dermabrasion and recell for minor white scars ?

Do you have tried recell?? Because man I have white flat scars on my shoulders from acne. Does it have any treatment for these scars because are very very stressful and are ruined me until suicidal thoughts.

Hi Guys, i wanted to share my feedback/review on my Recell experience.
So about 2 years ago i went to Zenith Cosmetics in Nottingham to see Jeremy Rawlins for Recell treatment for hypopigmented scars on my arms and chest. I was really hoping this would be an effective treatment and help me regain some confidence and move forward in life.
Unfortunately, after two years i have zero improvement. Like literally no improvement at all in any of my scars. They are still white. The only change i have is a negative change, as i also developed extra scarring from the dermabrasion. So things actually look worse now than before.
I wouldn't recommend this treatment as Recelldoesn't appear to be effective. I also wouldn't recommend Zenith Cosmetics for Recell as i felt that once they were done treating me they weren't really bothered with me after that.
I'm currently looking into skin micropigmentation to hopefully camouflage my scars.
Hope this helps someone who is thinking of having Recell for their scars and saves them a lot of unnecessary time and expense.

Definitely look into tattoo camouflage but also consider a kickass tattoo to cover the area.I did 3 rounds of tattoo camouflage or micro pigment as some peoplelike call it, I had next to no improvement on my white spots.

Im already 5 or 6 years after my recell and it really improved my face about 90% . Ittook about 3 years to see the light. But definitely I recommend this treatment for scars and hypo pigmentation after laser. Probably in people older it take more time to heal.
