so last night, i squeezed a pimple too hard and not too much came out. it doesnt feel like a big bump anymore but the whole area is darkened and im wondering on what to do to make it go away. please help me find out what happened, what to do, and how long it™ll take for it to go away
Put tea tree oil or benzoyl peoxide or 3% peroxide on the spot. This will help clear it and will help stop any secondary staph infection. Make sure your hands are very clean (twice washed) before touching any broken skin. NEVER touch your nose and then touch broken skin without washing your hands.
If the spot stays red or gets warm, put some antibiotic cream on it (with a q tip/cotton bud, if you can get it, otherwise put some antibacterial cream or Savlon such as betadine, on it.
