Hey,
I am a male and 20 years old, I have these red marks from old pimples etc.
(it looks better when I'm shaved and put on moisturizer tho)
I used "Skin Doctors Gamma Hydroxy" ( https://www.amazon.com/Skin-Doctor-Gamma-Hydroxy-50ml/dp/B000CSLJMS/ )
for like 5-6 weeks but didn't see a difference so I cut it.
thanks in advance
seems like there is enough good stuff in that to help, then again nowhere online or on their website can you find the percentages for any of the key ingredients, so its probably not a great product because they are most likely putting minimal amounts of good stuff in it. i would try to find something with 10% glycolic acid in it. https://www.amazon.com/Alpha-Hydrox-AHA-Enhanced-Lotion/dp/B000052YM7/
maybe check out sulfur soap for oily skin and acne

thankyou.
do you knowTretinoin and what do you think about it ?
sorry. i have never used tretinoin and dont know a lot about it. i have heard it can be a miracle product but have also heard of it causing major problems because it can thin the skin and cause damage. here are the acne.org reviews, if you havent seen them already.

Yeah, since you don't have any active acne, I'd say 10% glycolic acid would be just the thing for you to help fade those red marks. Dan's AHA+ is the bomb! Most derms wouldn't prescribe tretinoin unless you had a lot of blackheads and inflamed acne. But agreed with Tretinoin it does work great for treating those conditions.
