yo
i got bad hyperpigmentation as can be seen here:
it's funny because i used to have similar marks on my cheeks, but all of those [mostly] went away. the ones on my forehead have been there for around 3 years
here's a comparison:
good improvement ye?? so lets take a look at my forehead!!
almost no change!!
so what can i do to remove these marks? someone recommended I try dans AHA. right now I'm using benzoyl peroxide and finacea.. i dropped retin a (after like 1-2 years of use) because i didn't see any improvements
ok enough rambling basically 2 questions
1) how can i get rid these ugly red spots
2) how long will it take
thanks!!
I used retin a for 8 months after my accutane course to fade away my red marks after 2 months I went to my derm for something else because my makers didn't budge at all. Even with the use of SPF. So she prescribed me Hydroquinone ointment and told me to use this and retin a and she referred to this treatment as the "gold standard" of Hyperpigmentaion. I was excited to finally have these marks go away. Needless to say I gave it almost 6 months of this gold standard treatment and once again nothing budged! I gave up compleaty at the 8 more mark.
I came across some reviews on Dans AHA+ and saw nothing but great reviews. I figured I'd give it a shot, I mean what did I have to lose. So I fell in love with this product, I ordered it from amazon because it was cheaper and I figured it would get to my house quicker. I have been using it for a month and a halfish and my marks have faded a bunch, my best guess is 70% or 75%. I use it daily mixed with some of my moisturizer. 20% lotion and 80 AHA. Not only has it helped my red marks fade it has also made my face soo smooth and soft and it gives you a glow, the glow I had before I had acne. Acne just dulls your skin and takes the youth out of your face in my opinion and this AHA gave it back to me. I think you'd be smart to give it a shot aswell
