I need something to remove red marks/scars. Something to apply directly on my face that tones and evens the skin colour. I usually have anywhere from 0-10 zits at one go but they leave red marks for months afterwards. Maybe something for spot treatment as well. The cream I use now barely works and costs like 50 bucks every couple of months. Any advice? I heard alot about AHA+ but am not sure. Can anyone vouch for it?

I'm a 20 year old male if it makes any difference.

Cheers!

I heard that skin needling and applying fresh lemon juice helps a lot. You should try that and see if it helps with your redness.

Needling is a little harsh.

Lactic acid or glycolic peels will help. You can use them as a spot treatment.

They have some good peels and other skincare items.

Hi,

Have you considered MSM cream? It's completely natural, very low risk and only costs about $15, so I think it would be worth trying.

I've only been using it for a week, but here's what I've found:

  • Evens skin tone
  • Reduces redness/tightness of skin
  • Speeds up recovery of hyperpigmentation
  • Moisturises the skin a bit and is basically odourless

It seems to be fine with active acne too - I've also got about 0-10 spots at a time.

Some people claim it helps reduce scarring, but my scarring is fairly deep so I don't hold any hope for that. I too am just trying to even up my skin and reduce redness.
