can anyone tell me if i actually have to scrub it on my face not gently but not harshly. or do i jsut use it like a normal cleanser and lightly run your fingers over your face
no you don't need to scrub it on your face, you should massage it on in a circular motion using normal pressure and then when you add the water, continue massaging in a circular motion. You don't need to put much pressure as the glycolic acid is going to loosen the bonds that hold the dead skin to your face.
so just to be sure, you guys are recommending aqua glycolic cleanser to get rid of red marks?
i've used
FOTE aloe vera (2 months) x
ACV as a toner (3months) x
puredeming intense gel rla (5 weeks) x
35% glycolic acid peel (3 months) x
none of those have worked and now im trying bio oil
has anyone used any of these products unsuccessfully before using aqua glycolic?
I should have mine within the next few days.. I'm not getting my hopes up. I'm just going to keep telling myself that this isn't going to work, just as all of the other "miracles" I have come across.But I truly and sincerely hope I'm wrong.
Wait, so is anyone using Tea Tree and/or Jojoba Oil with this? Or do you guys not moisturize at ALL?

I use fruit of the earth aloe vera gel and its the best moisturizer Ive EVER used.

Just remember that you NEED sunscreen if you are going outside during the day after use. Get a moisturizer with sunscreen in it (i suggest the Sun Protection Creme from [Removed]).
grr omg im getting mad. The product is continuing to break me out in unusual places.
I've noticed i always break out during the day though. not overnight. You may think its my sunscreen i apply every morning after cleansing, but my sunscreen is hypo - allergic and non- comodgenic so it can't.
any suggestion to why i'm breaking out, especially during the day ?

what sunscreen are you using exactly? The regulations of the term "non-comedogenic" is very broad, so it doesn't always mean anything.

uhh its coppertone oil free face sunblock spf 30. I thought non-comedgenic specifically meant it doesn't clog pores?

Well, I wear a ton of make-up (obv) and I wash it off with Dove make-up remover cleansing cloths so........ do I just do that and then dry my face again and THEN use the aqua glycolic?
Also, since I am using Proactive right now and it's known to make your skin go crazy once you stop using it, do you think that switching to Aqua glycolic all of a sudden will make it worse on my skin? Could I possibly do the aqua glycolic cleanser, still use the Proactiv toner (since it has glycolic acid) and then aveeno moisturizer?

Yea... Why you are using Proactive is beyond me lol...
Anyways, I dont think making a sudden change will be a problem really, your face will have to get used to it at some point or another. And yes, you apply it dry first, then use water, then wash off, just as it says. This stuff is great, it should help you out a ton.
I just used this before my shower today for the first time and I plan on using it before going to bed tonight also.
As I have used it once it is far too early to tell what effect is has/will have on my red marks but it does make your skin uber smooth. It is very strange when you first put it on. It is really like no other cleanser I have used before and feels more like a lotion/moisturiser than a facewash.
Even though it has only been one day I am pretty pleased with it on this basis but only time will tell if it helps red marks, causes purging, etc.

i used proactiv as a last minute, purely out of desperation thing
i started my second year at uni september 5th and before that i was using benzaclyn and washing my face with aveeno face wash. the results werent quick enough for me and i had an extra case of proactiv (yano how they just keep sending over? lol) and i used it september 4th to today. It's worked great and cleared up all my active acne. Now I just need to get rid of these pesky red marks so I hope this aqua glyoclic works :/

I just use it as a normal face wash. Massage it on with make up on, then massage with water, then rinse. It does a good job of removing make up for me. No problems.
