Has anyone tried retinol creams/lotions/serums? If so, did it work at all? I have seen vague mention of it online. I live in a state that gets really cold in the autumn and winter, and my acne is more manageable if I put a lot of effort into it.. I may get away with only one or two blemishes. But I have cystic acne, so it's not tiny little blemishes. I spend so much time balancing face masks, washing my face, moisturizing and spot treating with benzoyl peroxide (which I only use when desperate as spot treating only two little places will make my whole face red, itchy and stings and burns for a few days). But summer months, it gets much worse and will cover my face at times. Not only is it unsightly, it's quite painful. So I am curious if retinol is something I can utilize to help.

To heal and prevent dry skin take inside vitamin E and flaxseed oil
drink herbal teas they heal and prevent acne
honeybrush, mint, burdock, nettle, red raspberry leaves, sage, thyme, milk thistle, dandelion
dont use herbs and drugs at the same time
