In the summer time I like to lay out in the sun for about a half hour a day, 5 days a week and my skin is completely acne free, smooth and shiney and golden. But when the fall comes, i start to get blemishes on my forehead and pimples. Even in the summer time when I eat alot of pizza and fast food I dont experience break outs. what gives man? The Vitamin D is an acne killer ?

Literally my life. Every single summer I have baby skin, and every single Fall/Winter I have skin to cry about. I was so sure it was due to the lack of Vitamin D during the Fall, I even had my Vitamin D levels tested and they came out more than perfect. My doctor told me if I had Vitamin D deficiency I'd have muuuuuch bigger problems than just acne.
But my derm explained to why this happens. While your pores get clear during the summer, you skin gets thicker and thicker (because of the sun) and once the sun goes away, all the dirt that is under these layers has to come out. And that is why she gave me Accutane
