Hi, im new here do i don't really know how this works. I've been dealing with acne since i was 12 years old, im 20 now. i've dealt with normal acne then (blackheads, whiteheads, hormonal acne) but the past year ive been having what i think is fungal acne all over my face and back/butt/thigh area. I have tried benzoyl peroxide wash/gel, differin gel, salicylic acid, mandelic acid, azelaic acid, ketoconazole cream, nizoral mask, sulfur mask, no skincare for a while, clindamycin, lactic acid, urea, niacinamide you name it. 2 years ago in 2023, i took accutane for 4 months and it cleared my acne and my back acne. I have taken doxycycline 3 times, in 2021,2022,2024. Recently i came off doxycyline. It kinda cleared my skin but i had these spots on my forehead that didn't even go away when i took it. My back acne also got worse. So long stort short i think i damaged my barrier and my gut so much that i got fungal acne and a mix of closed comedones. My forhead is so dry and every single time i move it its very shiny like dehydrated. I don't have acne i have textured skin filled with white stuff in it every time i squeeze it. And sometimes water comes out, and they are all together in clusters on my forehead. I have tried everyhting, every moisturizer breaks me out. i can't even use aloe vera that even irritates my skin and gives me zits. I really need help. I know i have to treat it like a fungal infection but i don't know where to start and what products to use. I also live in europe.

This sounds like a tough one. Throwing out something random, which is carnivore diet. Some people will heal up from seemingly random things that nothing else works for when they start a carnivore diet. Since you've tried so much else, just wondering if it might be worth a shot? The data is pretty much anecdotal on carnivore but the anecdotes are pretty compelling. Talk to your doc of course and stay monitored if you decide to try it.
