Hi I just got a kind of big cyst removed on my cheek and it looks kinda deep. I was wondering how I could care for it so that it doesn't scar. Im pretty young so I really dont want a big scar for the rest of my life. The advice I was given was to use Vaseline day and night and use waterproof bandages to cover it from the sun. Any advice is appreciated!
You will probably scar no matter what, but you can try to lessen it.
Check this article, and follow all procedures that your doc told you such as applying dressings to the wound.
