Hello, ever since I bought the new AHA (white in color) it has caused me to break out really bad. That is really not fair why youd suddenly change the contents of a product without factoring in what it might do to the people intended to use it. If its possible kindly return the old one (yellow one). Please.
The AHA can't be the culprit in this case. It's a strong peeling agent and has the same stuff as before in it. The color changed because of a different licorice root extract, but that's all. And the new extract is proven to reduce acne also. So it wouldn't make sense that your breakout is from the AHA.
In life there are so many variables, so you want to look at what might be causing your issue. A few things to think about:
- Did you start using a new product? Particularly sunscreens tend to break people out.
- Did you physically irritate your skin? Start playing a sport where you wear a facemask for instance?
- Start eating more all the sudden lately? Increased calories and/or carbs can lead to a breakout.
- Anything hormonal happen? Stop a birth control pill for instance?
That's just a few things to look at.
