Cellulitis that turned into Post inflammatory erythema?

My 7 month old baby got bitten in her left cheek. She was diagnosed in hospital and was given IV antibiotics. Then after the cellulitis was treated, she was told its post inflammatory redness, but no more infection is present. So they gave her Triamcinolone which is a steroid cream, we used it for 2 weeks everyday, then once every alternative day, then once every two days, to now once per week. She was also given 5 days of prednisone orally. We saw three dermatoligists till now, and opting to consult another one. Cicaplast and Elidil cream were also given, which created more redness, so we stopped those creams after day 2 of using them.

What worked best so far was the Triamcinolone cream, however we cant use it long term since its a steroid.

Does like look like PIE? I am wondering if she was misdiagnosed or not. Added all the pictures of when she got bitten, when she was hospitalised to the latest photo of her sitting down in front of the blue cushion. Since this happened, its been 7 weeks.

She's darling! It looks like it could be remaining bruising, but I strongly suggest you consult another dermo just because. Is she rubbing the area or act as if it's painful or bothersome?
