Been using benzoyl peroxide, salicylic acid treatments for over 6 weeks now as prescribed by dermat for my face acne but no significant changes yet. Breakouts still appear, no reduction in active acne, new pimples almost daily. Low dairy consumption, have oily skin. Everyone say acne reduces with such treatments within 4 weeks but nothing is happening with me. Please help me out.
Looks very similar to the problem I'm having. I have noticed small benefits when I reduced gluten foods.
Have you spoke to your skin specialist about oral medications like antibiotics or accutane? I'm thinking about trying that, as acne is very stubborn, though I've heard oral meds have side effects.
