Since lactose intolerant people can't eat dairy then they have less chance of acne forming but there are studies that lactose intolerant people can adapt to dairy if given small increments daily. So is it better to go all out dairy free or just let the body adapt to dairy?
Dairy products contain hormones, and there is good empirical evidence that ordinary acne (? possibly fungal acne also) is related to eating dairy products. This is nothing to do with the lactose in dairy food.
I would not eat any dairy foods, with or without lactose. Adult humans do not need to ingest female milk producing hormones from dairy cattle.
