I have been on the regimen for almost two monthsnow and my skin has improved so much. I incorporated the AHA 2 weeks ago and immediately started noting even greater improvement in the fading of my scars. However, I had read here that as soon as you start using AHA, a sunscreen needs to be used so I bought the SkinCeuticals SPF50. The challenge I gotwas that no matter how little amount I used, it leftmy face looking white and it became impossible for me to leave the house like that. I bought the Bio balance sunscreen SPF 50 thinking it would be better but the white residue was even worse.I was now forced to go back to using makeup to cover the whiteand the foundationhas been working to that end. However, I am now noticing a few pimples, they are not conspicuous but they had all faded initially and I am now afraid that it's either the sunscreen or the makeup that is derailing my results. The foundation I am using is Revlon Colorstay. I am okay with staying without makeup since I had already survived through the drying while still going to work without makeup. I am only using it to cover the white sinceI need a sunscreen and cannot go out looking white. Kindly help. What should I do?
No problem, I hope it works for you too! I do not use the acne.org products because they're hard to get my hands on in my country :(. Sometimes the dermacontrol can sting a little when my face is very sensitive due to acne treatment. To me, this sensation only lasts a minute or two tho.
