Hello.
I have those bumpy, painful red pimples on my chin, cheeks and forehead. My skin is worse than ever. This started about 1,5 months ago when I quitted sugar and wheat. I'm also trying to avoid dairy, carbs and meat. I do eat vitamin C, D, B6 and B12. I drink enough water.

Should I go to a dermatologist? I wouldn't want to take any pills or medicines.... Arethere natural ways to cure this? I've heard something about zinc, digestive enzymes and probiotics.

If you generally feel crummy or have other GI associated symptoms then fiber+probiotics might help. There are hundreds if not thousands of "natural" treatments in the Reviews section of this site. https://www.acne.org/reviews/

Actually I ate probiotics but I should buy more now.

I've been thinking if this is the lack of zinc. I googled some foods that are high in zinc and I don't eat them. Only eggs and sometimes bread. I alsobought Himalayan salt soap which is well-known here in Finland. But if any of you has experience of zinc capsules, please tell me.

Edit:
I've been eating zinc a few days now and it has helped me a little bit. I don't have new pimples and old ones are not as red as they used to be. I alsoheard something about drinking apple cider vinegar shots. Maybe I'll try that too... And evening primrose oil capsules if needed.

it normally takes upto 3 weeks for vitamins to work.

isnt apple cider vinegar meant to be diluted with water to stop damage to your throat?

ive heard some bad things about apple cider vinegar. apparently half a lemon, juiced with water is safer and just as good?

Yes, you mix it with water. I've heard that acv can damage your teeth so you should drink it with a straw.

Thanks for the advice, I'll try that too.

I've been eating zinc for a week now. I've got some tiny pimples but nothing too bad. My huge pimples are almost gone, but they have left red scars (hyperpigmentation?)

I did buy acv with the mother in it. I drink it in the morning and use it as a toner.

Oh and a couple of mates havetold that my cheeks don't look as bas as they used to be!

This is mostly just hyperpigmentation but it looks so bad... And people notice my skin and make a comment about it. I feel discusting! I hope zinc works. What should I do?

Zinc doesn't work as well so. I believed that it could really help in acne, but it alone will not do anything, it is a supplement, I also take zinc daily (30mg). What kind are you ingesting? It sounds like a placebo to me.

Your acne is mild and concentrated on the cheeks, i'd give a try on Epiduo along with Zinc and a good liquid soap,to keep the pH of your skin balanced and not dry.

Okay. :) I consider that but I'd like to cure acne naturally.

I was watching old pictures of mine. The first one is taken when problems started and the second picture was taken yesterday. Luckily it has healed a little bit.
