Benzoyl peroxide causing comedonal acne?

I'm 21 years old, and started the regimen around a year ago because i had some pimples, mainly on my cheeks, nose, and chin. I only had the occasional pimple on my forehead, and my forehead was always quite clear. I never had comedonal acne before.

So when I started the regimen, I didn't use the benzoyl peroxide or moisturiser on my forehead. A couple months went by, my pimples on my cheeks, nose and chin got better. But then I saw a couple pimples on my forehead. So i started applying the benzoyl peroxide and moisturiser on my forehead too. Soon those pimples were gone. But then around June/July of 2016 I got comedonal acne all over my forehead. I didn't think much of it and just kept going with the regimen and they have since not gone away. I have recently started using an exfoliator with salyclic acid in it, and it seems to have improved a bit.

But should I stop using benzoyl peroxide on my forehead? I have never had comedonal acne before and I'm very self conscious about it.

Go to COSDNA.COM. It is a site that with an analysis tool for the ingredients in your cosmetics, cleansers, etc. Already had tons on there you can look up and you can add to it yourself. Two things you will learn on this site as you use it:
1) acne treatments, cleansers and topicals are among the worst offenders for containing comedogenic ingredients.
2) the "regimen" isn't formulated any differently than half the other stuff available on the market.
