Guys so i've been dealing with severe acnes almost two months!! I am so shamed of it. My face never been like this before i wanna cry. Ive tried facial at one of skincare place in my country but i think it gets addicted like really correct me if im wrong. My face used to be clean and soft and good but once i stopped, my face getting worse. Shall i try the laser treatment? But im afraid if it will not works out on my skin, it is too expensive. But if i do the natural wayyy idk my face is too sensitive. Ive tried any of acne skincare products but the results are nothing. I want to show you guys my face and im so ashamed.

2 months is nothing really. I know it sucks, but find a good skin care system and stick to it. I recommend DKR. Your face didn't turn into a mess over night and it's not going to clear over night. I would also stay away from getting facials. Don't get me wrong, I've had some good facials, but I've also had plenty of bad ones which only make the problem worse.

DKR (Dan Kern Regimen), also know as the Acne.org regimen. It worked for me when nothing else did, including a round of Accutane. Girl, I feel your pain about going on job interviews and having to go into work when your face is a mess. To my knowledge, I have never not been given a job because of my acne. I did have an office once with huge florescent overhead lights and I bought a lamp and turn the overheads off and told my coworkers they hurt my eyes. Haha. The things we do because of acne. I try not to wear makeup and just be proud in who I am, acne and all. It's rough and sometimes I get looks, but you know what? Screw them if their going to judge me. They literally have no idea.

Hi Katrinaptrd

Why don't you go and see your doctor? If your acne is upsetting you that much, you should ask for a referral to a dermatologist. You don't need to suffer with this :)

I suggest you get on some birth control specifically to help acne, along with choosing the best topical. I say try the regimen on this site its the cheapest option. BTW don't use as much as Dan shows in the videos if you have sensitive skin! Try maybe a dime sized amount.

littlebrownbird & snarkygirl i dont know if you guys can see my reply or not because idk ive never been on forum before this.

But dear littlebrownbird, that is exactly what i wanted to do but i didnt. The last time i went to my doctor is if she kept telling me to still facial idk until when. Im not going to spend all my money just for facial for the rest of my life that's why i was thinking about other option laser but she cant promise it too if it will going okay. I just want to stop these acnes or at least do stg that makes these acnes dissapear and not going on that doctor anymore lol hard i know.

For snarkygirl, thanks for your suggestion but i live on the other side of planet._. I dont have paypall or stg like that. And why birth control? I am not married yet??

hi I can see your replies.
Most cases of adult acne in females are caused by hormone imbalances...doesn't have to be a huge problem women are ten times more sensitive to hormonal changes than men. So if your hormones are functioning less than perfectly you can have skin issues.
Birth control specifically corrects your ratio of male and female hormones. It may take 3-4 months to see results but it often helps a lot. Same with spironolactone, it corrects hormonal issues. Many women take birth control specifically for other conditions than pregnancy, heavy or irregular periods, endometriosis, PCOS and acne.

You dont have to but the products on this site, just get any 2.5% benzol peroxide( at a drugstore, pharmacy etc), an oil free scent free moisturiser and maybe some jojoba oil.

If you don't want to take meds there ate natural thi GS you can do as well. Let me know and I'll tell you more :)

i agree that laser generally only works short term and costs too much. Unless you're wealthy and can do it on a continuous basis, most of us are not.

Well thanks im using 2.5% benzol peroxide and it helps me a little. I maybe should have use the 5% or the benzol CL. Yep exactly!! I guess it might be because my periods or stressed.I do admit if im having a tough day and i get stress so easily. And i heard drinking one or two spoons of olive oil everday can help to reduce acne. And now im thinking to choose moisturizer that suits for my skin but its hard to find.

olive oil or coconut oil. I take fish, flax and borage oil in one combo pill.
I've never had issues with sea buckthorn oil but many people like rosehip oil.

Grass fed animas are fine....I'd avoid pork cause they are fed really bad diets. Its animal products that have hormones and antibiotics that are bad. Some people have issues with grains rather than meat, just depends on the person.
Adding good things is as important as taking out bad ones. Antioxidants and vitamins are needed for good skin. Sweet potatoes, veggies, berries, cold water fish, non processed foods.:)

Hi Katrina

I'd still go to the doctor and look into getting some help. Over the counter stuff helps to an extent but you may need a specialist to help you.

As for food, everything in moderation. However, I know from seeing a nutrtionist, that skimmed and semi skimmed milk have higher hormone content than full-fat. Better still skip it and use an alternative; there are plenty of nut/rice based milks.

Hope you're well :)
