I'm not sure if what I have is acne scarring or hyper pigmentation. I started breaking out 4 years ago when I was in high school and have been on prescription pills, prescription topical treatments, and have tried many drugstore treatments. I've been using tea tree oil every night for the past couple of months and now I don't have any pimples (maybe one every couple of weeks or around my time of month). So if you glide your hand over my face it feels completely smooth and soft. When I put on makeup you can't tell that I have any problems but I hate these marks so much that I never leave the house without foundation. The other problem I haven't been able to fix is my large pores (as you can see from the pictures) they are very visible and I hate it! I was wondering what products from acne.org or anywhere in general I could use to get rid of these marks and make my pores smaller. I would also like to mention that I have EXTREMELY oily skin, I always keep oil blotting sheets with me and have to blot multiple times. My ultimate goal is to feel confident enough to not have to wear a full face of makeup everyday anymore and I'm so close. Thank you in advance! :)

Your pores aren't that noticeable unless you shove your camera in there =P But pore size is genetic and there isn't much you can do to permanently reduce it. There are products out there that are supposed to make you look poreless. I find that if I use Smashbox Primer on my oily spots + cushion foundation (light to maybe medium coverage) + matte powder, it covers up my pores decently and stays on for a good amount of time. I also found Maybelline Fit Me Matte Foundation to be a pretty solid foundation candidate for oily skin with medium coverage. The matte powder I use is from Rimmel

I also found that using a moisturing toner (it's witchazel without alcohol with rose scnet) has reduced dryness on dry areas and reducd oiliness on oily areas...just a tad though. It also sounds counterintuitive, but maybe try a moisturizing routine before bed (i.e. serum, cream, sleeping pack, etc.) It might help your skin from thinking it has to produce so much oil to keep it hydrated?

Here are somethings for hyperpigmentation: http://www.acne.org/hyperpigmentation.html

I've read somewhere that castor oil helps with hyperpigmentation
