Eczema like rash on cheeks?

It's really difficult to explain, but each of my cheeks have a big raised patch of skin that's really rougand drycompared to the rest of my face, and I can't really peel/exfoliate it off. A lot of time these patches get irritated and get red. It fits eczema's description really well, but it only gets red/irritated sometimes. Sounds really weird but I think it gets irritated really badly when I laugh, really hard I'm guessing because of the increased blood flow to my cheeks? But yeah, I've had this condition for 5 or 6 months. I don't touch my face, I only eat junk food once in a while, I drink enough water. The only thing I use on my skin now is a gentle cleanser and moisturizer. In the past I've tried benzoyl peroxide, exfoliating my face to maybe get the patches off, using different moisturizers, etc.

I suffer from something similar but I've been diagnosed withRosacea that Flairs up from time to time. My redness gets irritated quiet a bit from laughter and uncomfortable situations....anxiety...showers....

My seb derm and rough patches actually get worse with moisturiser. Perhaps stop using any for a week and let it just dry up on its own - even if it flakes. It always helps mine to just dry up

Ironically enough doing nothing actually seemsto calm my face quiet a bit from the dryness and Rosacea as well. If only treating all forms of acne were that simple.... Lol...
