Please help! so for the last couple of weeks I have been getting some bad acne. I will occasionally get some breakouts but recently especially during the summer I have seen that the small spots come out of my face. I just don't know what to do to get rid of the small bumps so I need someone's advice. I made the mistake because of me being desperate to actually try to squeeze them out but in most cases nothing comes out. WHAT DO I DO?
Dude I'm having the same problem as you. My skin was relatively decent during school but this summer has caused my skin to get super bumpy and just like the texture sucks!!! If your bumps look like mine, they're called comedones. It happens when your pores get clogged and stuff. I was researching it and apparently benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid won't work because those attack bacterium in pimples and since the bumps aren't quite pimples there's no bacteria to really kill. Not sure if that info is accurate but it makes sense. I'm going to the dermatologist tomorrow to get some sort of medicine for it (because my skin has literally never been this bad ugh).

What did your dermatologist tell you? And I have been using african black soap for almost a week and it has made some of these "pimples" surface so I guess that is a good thing

I don't know where you got that from, but salicylic acid/ benzoyl peroxide should work fine for closed comedones. I really don't recommend taking antibiotics for this type of acne.
