Sick Of The Remaining Persistent Acne

Hey there! I've been battling acne for about 4-5 months now. The thing is, I don't have very much acne at the moment, there's a little bit of hyperpigmentation left, not very much but still. I've got like 2 pimples on my left cheek, one small on my temple(forehead) area, and one under my mouth on my chin. I know this sounds like very little to some of you, but it's bothering me every time I'm looking in the mirror.

I've come along way battling my acne, when I started it was pretty chaos, but now I would call it pretty mild acne.

The thing is, it's persistent and i never get a 100% clear face. If mostly of my pimples dissappear, there will always be some new pimple coming up, and this is bothering me VERY much, and puts down my self esteem at some points. What can I do to stay clear and prevent acne? Every morning I'm clearing my face with a mild cleanser, then put on a little bit of moisturize(non comodogenic). On the nights I use cleanser also, and a very tiny bit of moisturizer, then I use Epiduo on my spots.

I'm willing to do everything it takes to stay clear, isn't there any kind of "acne scheduele" of some kind? Like sticking to a diet maybe, things to do to get it away etc? I'm willing to do EVERYTHING to get rid of it once and for all. Roaccutane is not an option in the summertime.

Help me please!

Hi there ^^

At the moment I'm pretty much in the same boat as you. I started with bad acne and have battled it down to only a few pimples at a time, yet nothing ever seems to keep me completely clear. I'm going to try honey oatmeal soap and if that doesn't work the next thing I'm trying is calcium magnesium D3 tablets with zinc. I'll let you know how it works out for me, and in the meantime if you find something that works for you I'd love to know, thanks!

Ah good to hear we're atleast on the road to success I hope :D. Sure thing! I've just bought an aloe vera to use instead of moisturizer with aloe barbadensis in it (important ingredient) and started drinking hot lemon water in the morning and in the night. It already feels a little bit better but I'll update a bit forward to see how it goes.. Anyone else with any suggestions? :)

Getting proper sleep and drinking lots of water seemed to help get rid of the last couple pimples for me. Also remembering to use a good facial cleanser helps the pores from getting clogged, so that may help too! It's okay though, a lot of the times, it seemed to be horomonal and they will eventually disappear after time :)

Thanks for the advices! Im currently using aloe Vera instead of moisturizer and some epiduo for the topical treatment, also using zinc for a daily supplement, also drinking Lemon juice in the morning and night, it's already a huge success, keep on posting suggestions please! Peace guys!
