I've been taking 10,000 IU of vitamin a daily (within the upper limit) for about 10 days and it's really helping my skin. However, I've started to develop slightly dry lips, more headaches than normal (again very slight) and a patch of dry skin on my hand. Should I be concerned about this or is this normal?

Having too much vitamin A can result in "vitamin A toxicity". Both headaches and peeling skin are common symptoms of this.

You probably should try a lower dosage, or cut back on foods with vitamin A while you're taking the supplement.
