I aplogize in advance if this is the wrong section for such a thread, I couldn't find a clear section which I thought was approtiate.

Hey everyone,

I began to notice a small change in my hairline (the corners were recedeeding) beginning last fall. I was pretty concerned about it as I'm a 20 year old male, and male pattern baldness doesn't really run in the family, the only family members who have lost hair began to lose it at a later age (30+). This made me wonder if anything else might be causing my hair loss so I began to look back at what I've been doing since then. My acne had gotten worse around this time, so I wonder if chronic stress might've caused both my acne and hair loss to flare up?

I got a perscription for Avar-e, Tazorac, and Riax foam starting last August and I've been using the Tazorac and Riax foam daily since then (I plan on opening another thread about my actual acne and how these medications have worked out for me so far). I doubt the Riax foam has any effect on hair as it's just Benzoyl Peroxide, but would the Tazorac have any effect on hair? I did some researech and did notice that hair loss is a listed side effect, but others claim that Tazorac will actually help hair loss. Has anyone had any similar experience with Tazorac, and if this is indeed the cause for the hairloss, would stopping the Tazorac allow for regrowth?
