Bright Red, Swollen Cyst (Pic)

I went off antibiotics a month and a half ago and did alright for a while. Three days ago, a cyst started forming above an old hyperpigmented scar. It has continued to grow, and it's beet red. I've been using Retin-A and Avar-E at night, along with hydrocortisone or Desonate for the redness. Nothing is helping. I went back on 100 milligrams Minocycline on Tuesday and have increased to 200 today. I think the zit is less painful today than it was yesterday, but the redness around it is ridiculous. It's also still a pea-sized knot protruding from my skin. Thoughts on how to shrink it, avoid a chemical burn, and prevent hyperpigmentation? My skin is ridiculously sensitive. I'll end up with a red mark no matter what I do, but I really don't want to go in for a cortisone shot... And I want to stop the antibiotics again ASAP. I took this picture this morning. It's even redder tonight, but I don't want to take another picture. I haven't picked it or squeezed it at all. I've washed it gently. This is just how much my fair skin sucks.

It may be getting better, but it's still bulbous and red. Will it go away without having an extraction or getting a cortisone shot? Meanwhile, I'm breaking out elsewhere. Still taking 100 mg Minocycline...

Once again, the redness seems to be slightly diminishing, but the lump is still pretty big. This thing is never gonna go away. And the redness will last for ages. The old scar below it sucks, too.

That is exactly the spot where I have mine right now and where I always get mine. To be honest, yours does not look bad at all! Mine has now been popped and is a super gross scab so at least yours can be covered. Do not try popping it and ice that bad boy and it will be gone by next week (most likely). Your skin is so pretty! Even with your visitor :) good luck!!!!
