I am 16 year old male and I used to have completely clear skin like a baby until I was 14. I started to slowly get acne on my forehead but did not really care because I thought it would go away. Then it went down to my chin and to the sides of my nose. I never got a single pimple on my cheek and my cheeks are clear. It seems that my acne is only on my t-zone. When I had clear skin nothing affected my face, I could eat so much junk food and sleep at whatever time I wanted to and I would not wash my face at all sometimes and my skin would be flawless. The only changes in my lifestyle is that I stopped getting sunlight like i used to. The last time I got proper sunlight could be more than a year ago. Could this be the cause of my acne?
it could be, but you are a 16 year old male, there are a lot of things it could be
you could talk your doctor into doing a blood test, if your levels are low you should definitely treat it and get them up....vitamin d is a wonderful thing for your body, and if you are deficient you should know it
if money or insurance is a problem, you can read here that many take 1000iu or even more a couple times a day....read up on it and decide for yourself
but the test is the sure way to monitor your level
