Hey!
I'm 15 and I have acne, obviously that's why I'm here lol. I started getting pimples at 13 and now I have what is considered as acne. I used to get lots of pimples on my forehead but after drinking loads of water, they have now thankfully almost cleared up. I still get like 2 or 3 randomly but for the most part, they have cleared up. About 3-4 months ago, I had a sudden breakout on my right cheek.
I still have dark marks due to that breakout and I still have a few spots which are drying up and have formed scabs thanks to Tea Tree oil. I have a few spots on my left cheek too and I usually get pimples on my chin also. This may be hormonal. Most of the pimples I had have now turned into scabs. I will be visiting a dermatologists hopefully very soon but does anyone have any advice for me as I am quite unsure of how to clear up my skin. I know about drinking lots of water and eating healthy and exercise but I wanna know some good inexpensive products. I currently use Boots Tea tree and witch Hazel face wash, daily moisturiser and night treatment gel. I also spot treat using tea tree oil every night. Sorry this is soooooo long lol
I've heard Tea Tree Oil can work fairly well as a spot treatment. Is it not working for you?? Your post seemed to imply it was working...that is acne was drying up thanks to TTO.
A good diet with lots of fresh fruits and veggies, plus plenty of water is always a great idea regardless of acne...good for you for improving your diet and glad that drinking lots of water is helping.
It really just fades with time man. Yeah the forehead acne tends to affect the younger teens (13-15) year olds, I'm 17 now and I rarely get any pimples on the forehead/temple area. If I do, they're extremely minor and the dark spots are literally there for only 2 weeks.
Cheeks are a problem though. For some reason majority of the pimples appear there. The dark spots on the cheeks take a super long time to fade too.
Thanks guys!
I'm seeing a dermatologist soon so hopefully my cheek acne decides to clear up because I now currently have scabs on my cheeks and chin:( Any advice on how to clear up the scabs or should I just leave them alone?
Just leave them alone man, if you pick on the scabs they'll end up causing more pigment to your cheeks, which in the long run would take longer to fade. Good luck!
Yeah, cheeks are also my son's biggest problem area and the red marks here do tend to be more stubborn. His forehead is nearly clear of red marks and you can hardly tell he had acne here but the ones on cheeks still look pretty purplish. The marks do eventually fade even if you do nothing.
Thank you to you all! I feel MUCH better about my skin now. I was thinking of drinking Green Smoothies to help my acne too because I've heard that they are really useful for people trying to acheive clear skin! What do you guys think? Green smoothies or no?
thanks again!x
Thanks everyone but tbh i've given up caring about my acne. I feel like such a burden to my mum always complaining about my acne.
I'm gonna see a dermatologist soon anyway so yh. But idc anymore. Its a waste of time. It's funny how one comment about your acne can ruin your whole day. Honestly, I see people with worse acne than me and I am in awe of how they still say happy all the time. I'm never happy. I'm just exceedingly good at faking a smile but inside, I have NEVER been so insecure in my whole life. I'm terrified of even looking in the mirror. It's not fair. None of my sisters had acne. JUST ME.
I feel like dying.
I began to feel confident about my skin but that lasted 2 f*****g minutes.
I actually begin to feel suicidal at times too.

I was in the same situation as well, it's just a phase. Sometimes I think it's a good thing we got acne, because it's only now that you realize everything you're missing out on.
The Acne.Org Body Regimen works great! It's keeping my son's bacne under control. Here's some info:
How to get rid of recurring pimples on cheeks? I already have hyperpigmentation on my cheeks from other pimples and now im getting new pimples! I keep getting them especially on my right cheek:( i may be going on roaccutane next month. Can anyone who has been on roaccutane share their experience please. Thanks

I had a similar experience. I started getting forehead acne when I was about 10, it continued until I was 13 and able to clear it up. Now it's becoming a problem on my cheeks, and I have a lot of hyper pigmentation there from skin picking and acne in general, but I rarely ever get acne on my forehead now. I wonder why that is
