I tend to develop (indented) scarring from cysts/nodules that I don't even pick at or squeeze. Is there any trick/product/supplement that anyone has found to help prevent scarring from cysts/nodules, especially those that make it to the skin's surface before you can put ice on it?
Thank you,

I would say be use stuff that is gentle and let your skin naturally heal with decent diet. Purechimp super cleanser is worth a try.
I'm in the States and would rather not deal with the hassle of such long-distance shipping.
Currently, I'm applying Tea Tree oil, then Rose Hip Seed oil, and, finally, Sodium-Sulfacetamide lotion. (I allow at least 15 minutes between the application of each one, to let it be absorbed before the next application.) I also am taking Vitamin C to hopefully help ease the inflammation--well, it's already quite inflamed and fully raised to the surface of my skin; so I guess I'm hope the Vit. C will ease any potential damage.

Okay cool. You could maybe create your own cleanser (something as simple as mixing oatmeal with water & using as a cleanser) or buy something else in the US that is is similar to the Purechimp super cleanser. I would reccomend using this and moisturising your skin with something that is non-comedogenic.
Tea Tree oil can be quite harsh on the skin, are using it diluted?

I'm not diluting it, but since I'm applying Rose Hip Seed oil 15 minutes after the TT oil has soaked in, my skin's not as irritated from it as it normally would be. If I weren't using the RHS oil, I either would be diluting the TT oil or using it less frequently than twice daily.

It really depends on how inflamed each cyst becomes, and the areas that they are located. I can get terrible cysts in areas like the jaw or forehead that will not scar at all, but I can also get very small lesions that will scar regardless, especially on my cheeks. I would say keep your diet clean and make sure you are getting the proper vitamins and minerals to help in the repair of the damaged skin. Also, the more inflamed a lesion becomes the more of a chance it will scar as a crater, so you should try to combat the inflation as much as possible on these spots with topical such as tea tree oil, benzoyl peroxide, or salsylic acid.

Good point. I have the same issue: I scar more easily on my cheeks--and some parts of my chin--than other areas of my face.

I have a horrible sweet tooth--chocolate being my key weakness--but my diet in all other areas has improved.
Currently, I'm taking a multivitamin, Magnesium (for IBS issues), Calcium (to pair with the Magnesium), but I cut back the Magnesium and skip the Calcium on the days that I take the multivitamin. Also, I now am taking Vit. C to help with inflammation.
One interesting thing to note: when I first began getting cysts/nodules at age 22, I used Sulfacet-R--a sulfur/sodium sulfacetamide lotion--daily. And I developed no scarring, even from deeply inflamed breakouts on my cheeks; that's why I'm using it on my current cyst, along with the TT oil and Rose Hip Seed oil. (Sulfacet-R is no longer available in the U.S.; I'm using another product having the same concentration.)
