hello everyone ....first let me excuse myself for my english its not my first nor second luanguage ....but anyway ...i'll like to talk to you about diet and acne ...hoping we can come out with something good for me and for you ...so shall we begin
about me ??
im 20 years old guy ...that been with acne since 16 years old ....it was hell and still is for most parts ....i tried couple creams ...but the only cream that helped me was BP (i put it at night and only on pimples) ....it helps but it doesnt stop new pimples from forming ...so 6 months a go ...i went on accutane (scray stuff) ....it did help with the acne but it caused me facial hair loss ...and SD(i still suffer from this one) .....so i stopped it half way and started counting days before my acne comes back ....and what do you know ...it did come back 1.5 month later but to a lesser degree ....but still i wasnt happy ...and i wanted it gone totally ...so i came across the diet thing ....and tried and here is the results
my diet for 2 whole months (november untill now)...
I went diary and gluten and sugar (exept fruit) free .....so basically all i ate was whole grains and dates as fruit ....and i believe it worked ....the acne didnt stop compeletly but i started having 1 noticable acne every 2 weeks ...which is better than good .....but i noticed that eating too much meat or chicken was the cause of that pimple .....so i started cutting off meat and i think that did it ...cuz i rememeber going 2 weeks with a clear face ( i tough i was cured of acne LOL) ....also i think what also helped is changing my pillow cases everyday and washing my face 3 times a day (i tried 2 times but i dont think it was enough) ...also i stopped touching my face and letting dirty stuff touch it
so anyway here i was 95 percent clear most of the time but i wasnt happy looking at my family memebers eat all that sweet and fast food ....while i was stuck with certain foods ....so somehow i convinced myself that diet wasnt the reason im clear and it was just luck ....so as soon as i came home from my exams ....i started eating alots of sweet fruits and eating untill im super full in diner and lunch ....i was too scared to try eating gluten or fast food again ....but even so ...the result was still horrible
couple days after i started binge eating and eating a lot and alots of fruits ....my red little friends came back ...with new type of acne in new places ...i never had before ....mostly on my right cheek while my left cheek is suprisingly still clear

right now im still using BP on the new acne i have on my right cheek and one in my nose ...they seem to get better everyday ....but what i learned is ....that if i ever want to stay clear ...i have to stick to this diet ...it sucks i know ...having to eat certain foods ....but at the end i got to choose ...clear skin or eating what ever i want
now the question that's bothering me ......
why did i break out on my right cheek only ??
i noticed that i keep getting some pimples in the exact same spot ...they go and come back weeks later...why ??
i noticed while reading a lot of topics ....that most people of acne tend to eat what ever they want and stay skinny ...the same with me ...so im wondering if acne is a some sort of a warning light ...instead of gaining couple pounds ??
