I have had acne for 5 years. it's not severe, but it is definitley not moderate. nothing seems to work for my skin, not even prescription topical gel. I have normal/combination skin but acne medicine makes the spots where I have acne dry and flaky. I get whiteheads a lot and I know I shouldn't pop them, but I can't help it. they look so awful, but when I pop them they just come back. I wear makeup, but nothing covers my acne at all. ANY SUGGESTIONS IM DESPERATE
That does look like a pretty classic case of mild-moderate acne. Have you ever tried benzoyl peroxide? or the regimen? I've seen a lot of people with your skin type react good to that kind of therapy. It can be pretty drying on the skin, so being gentle and using a good moisturizer daily is essential.
