Ok so i have popped pimple that was upside my right cheek. Ofcorse i failed but next morning i finally squeezed everything, so it left me with some scab. I didn't popped pimple in like half a year so i forgot what to do with scab... I know that i should not mess with it because it can leave perm scar etc...
Now i'm wondering is putting bp on scab good idea? Cuz i've heard that it helps speed up healing process, like it dry it faster?
Also any help is welcome, i would really like to avoid scarring, since my old scars are almost faded...

Hi! I've found that the best thing that works for a popped pimple is neosporin or some kind of antibiotic ointment. It seems to keep it from scabbing badly and helps it heal quickly. I usually use vitamin e oil on it after it's mostly healed - it's supposed to help prevent and cure scars and seems to do a good job! I've tried bp on scabs but never really like the results - it dries it out sooo much that it almost seems to make it worse! But I do have pretty dry skin normally so it could just be me.
