Just another good tip I want to throw out there. Sleep on your back. Not on your sides or your stomach. Sleeping on your back reduces any chance of your face touching or rubbing against your pillow. So train yourself to always sleep in that position. Always wash your hair before bed. Always change your pillow case every night if possible. For emergencies, you can get a clean t-shirt and use that as a pillow case as well. Always get at least 6 hours of sleep.

Is that just because of excess oils or product from your hair getting on your face at night?

Exactly! That's why I recommend washing your hair every night. Your hair collects dirt, debris, pollution, etc. throughout the day, so you want to do everything possible to limit the exposure.

I agree taking a shower at night is better . Some people take it in the morning so they can feel clean throughout the day, but yet they go to sleep dirty. If u take it at night you will wake up clean ur just going to get dirty and sweaty all day .. Sleeping on ur back sounds easy . I have tried it yet I find myself waking up on my side from not begin able to sleep on my Back all night

The reason I take a shower in the morning is because I feel dirty when I wake up and it jolts me awake.

This isn't going to help everyone but If it works then by all means keep doing it, as far as washing your hair every night, a highly recommend this. I get a very greasy scalp and hair and the worst thing to do is let it rub off on your pillow and plant your face in it for 6-8 hours.
